No sewage hookup? No problem. This dishpan will save your tank.

by Sydney Ryanczak

One of the things we knew we immediately needed was a dishpan that would fit into the sink to catch gray water. Most of the campsites we have visited have not had sewer hook up and with the Sport 16′  tiny gray/black water tank we didn’t want to take any chances filling it up before our trip was even half over.  Gotta save room for you know what!

The 2015 Airstream Sport 16’s sink opening is approximately 11″ x 13″ and I search Amazon for the perfect fitting dishpan.

I found it: Prepworks by Progressive Collapsible Dish Tub.

It fits perfectly, covering the entire opening of the sink, and holds over 9 quarts of liquid. It’s easy to remove from the sink and carry outside to dump at nearby gray water stations. It also collapses when not in use so it is perfect for the small spaces in the Mattie Wagon.

We literally use this on every trip and I consider it a must-have gear item.
