Hi there! We’re Scott and Sydney, a husband and wife duo who bought an Airstream. We both work in corporate jobs as Software Engineering Leaders. We love the outdoors – hiking, camping, kayaking, cycling, even yard work makes us happy. When you spend most of your days inside, being outside is a treat. We are a blended family and have 3 kids between the two of us: Pelham, Alex, and Zach. A rescued German Shepherd mix (Frankie) and a Mixed Something Else (Reese) complete the group. Never a dull moment in our house!
We bought Matilda I, an Airstream Sport 16′, back in April of 2018 and the blog was born as a way to capture our camp logs. We fell in love with camping and upgraded to a 25’ Flying Cloud in 2019 aka Matilda II. In 2023, we upgraded one more time to a 30′ International. We hope to provide great information on the different campgrounds we visit, the hikes we take, the food we eat, the gear, and all things camping! Thank you for following along in our adventures!
